{"id":1459,"date":"2025-05-13T10:29:14","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T08:29:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bydgoszczmusic.com\/bydgoszcz-nominated-for-the-best-global-music-city\/"},"modified":"2026-01-27T11:23:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-27T10:23:07","slug":"bydgoszcz-nominated-for-the-best-global-music-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bydgoszczmusic.com\/en\/bydgoszcz-nominated-for-the-best-global-music-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Bydgoszcz nominated for &#8220;The Best Global Music City&#8221;!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are proud to share the news that Bydgoszcz &#8211; a UNESCO City of Music has been nominated for the prestigious &#8220;<strong>Best Global Music City&#8221;<\/strong> award at the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musiccitiesevents.com\/awards\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.musiccitiesevents.com\/awards\">Music Cities Awards 2025<\/a><\/strong>!  <\/p>\n\n<p>This is a great honor for us &#8211; we were among the cities from around the world that uniquely use <strong>music as a tool for social, economic and cultural development.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The competition is organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musiccitiesevents.com\/\">Music Cities Events <\/a>together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sounddiplomacy.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sounddiplomacy.com\/\">Sound Diplomacy<\/a>. MCE is an international organization that runs the largest conferences and platforms dedicated to music in cities.
