This year&#8217;s edition was also attended by Bydgoszcz \u2013 UNESCO City of Music, represented during a panel discussion on creative cities and their strategies for supporting culture and music in urban spaces. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is ReConnect?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>ReConnect is an international music conference aimed at integrating music-related communities \u2013 from artists and promoters to representatives of institutions and the creative sector. The event creates a space for substantive discussion, exchange of experiences, and building professional relationships. One of the conference organizers are Czech partners from the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of Music.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Themes of this year&#8217;s edition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>During the conference, a number of issues relevant to the contemporary music market were discussed, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monetization and copyright \u2013 challenges related to the royalty system, contracts, and transparency of music data.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The club and alternative scene \u2013 the importance of clubs as spaces for artistic experimentation, ways of financing and maintaining activities in difficult conditions.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International cooperation and music exports \u2013 mechanisms for crossing market borders and the role of supporting institutions, such as funds and music export offices.<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking and exchange of experiences \u2013 presentation of case studies, sharing success stories and challenges that inspired further cooperation.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why is ReConnect important for Bydgoszcz?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Participation in the ReConnect conference is an important element for Bydgoszcz in developing international contacts within the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
