It is counted among the country&#8217;s leading music institutions. Its hall is famous for its excellent acoustics and is equipped with a 47-voice mechanical organ. It is an institution financed from the budget of the Local Government of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Over time, the role and tasks carried out by the KPCK have changed, but these have always touched the professional and amateur sphere of cultural activity. Currently there you can see an exhibition of the phonographic collection &#8220;Sounds from under the needle&#8221;, with various playing equipment, physical records of music in various forms and much more. Before the war it was one of Bydgoszcz&#8217;s many entertainment inns, later transformed into a theater, which it was until the 1980s.In 2021 it was put back into use as a renovated theater stage.It hosts mainly performances for children and young people.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ul. In addition to performances, it also hosts lectures, debates and workshops. The attic of the main building sometimes hosts very intimate acoustic or relatively quiet concerts.
