We would like to invite you to the 12th edition of the ETHNIESY festival, which will take place from March 20-23, 2025 at the Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz. This year’s slogan is “Breath” – we invite you to celebrate together this basic energy that connects us to the world.
The festival is not only unique concerts, but also workshops, exhibitions and films. This year on stage we will hear Maniucha Bikont, Za Siódmą Górą, Sourdure, Mud, Gary Gwadera, N.A.P., and Afterklang, among others.
Particularly recommended is the performance of the group SPIEVY z-pad mosta – a choir of women emigrants who perform songs from centuries ago from the territory of modern Belarus. Their music has become a kind of tool for dealing with the collective trauma caused by forced emigration. The concert is part of the Bydgoszcz City of Music UNESCO program and the DRUMS FUSION/ROOTS/INCLUSION project.
In addition, 2025 is the Bydgoszcz Year of Music, so ETHNIESY fits perfectly into the celebration of this special event.
