The film tells the story of the creation of an extraordinary exhibition by artists from Bydgoszcz as a creative response to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. It is a story about art that becomes a language of concern for the future—for a world free from poverty, a world that is fairer, more equal, and friendly to people and nature.

The documentary explores the process of creating works that are not simple illustrations, but personal, moving commentaries on contemporary challenges: from climate protection and women’s rights to access to education and healthcare. The camera follows the artists at work, allowing the viewer to understand the emotions and ideas that inspired their work.

Viewers will see how “Images of Change” became part of the Music Cafe Szpulka space at the Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz—a place where art accompanies the everyday lives of residents, inspires reflection, and encourages action.

This is a film about the power of imagination, which, like music, can open our eyes, move us, and raise awareness.
