Local Government Diplomacy Forum organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship
2025

We showed up at the Local Government Diplomacy Forum organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
And as the topic was international cooperation and foreign projects, we presented the Bydgoszcz City of Music UNESCO Program, including extensive cooperation with other cities of the Network around the world, international projects, past artistic exchanges of musicians from Europe and Asia, and Bydgoszcz’s presence at international conferences or forums from Canada to South Korea. Among the guests, in addition to the province’s authorities and local government officials from the region, Deputy Foreign Minister Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef was also present.
We also showed our strategy of action aimed at strengthening Bydgoszcz internationally, building Bydgoszcz’s position as a creative city and taking actions that support the local music industry.
But UNESCO wasn’t the only one mentioned. The Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz is a partner in the EU project INTERREG BALTIC SEA REGION. Together with seven European countries, we are working on strengthening the European music industry in the MI-RAP (Music Industry Resilience Acceleration Programme) project. Already in January, we started a pilot course in studio sound realization and sound and stage lighting, which, once completed and evaluated, will be implemented in other EU countries.
