From string to string

A universal music education program aimed at children, using the potential of the city’s institutions and the local music scene.

Within the framework of the program, all preschoolers will be covered by systematic music education (through music classes and children’s participation in live music encounters). The universality and accessibility of the program ensures that children from poor families will also have the opportunity to participate.

A program of daily interaction of 3-year-olds with music will be piloted in one of the city’s kindergartens. The project will also promote eco-friendly attitudes among the youngest through the creation of recycling orchestras.

Activities will also be undertaken to promote music and folk art from the region through a program of regional education for children carried out by two youth folk ensembles.

Within the framework of music education, in addition to the permanent classes in the establishments, it is planned to organize international music workshops, also in cooperation with music cities, and a conference for Polish ASPNET schools on cultural and artistic education with particular emphasis on the role of music as an integral part of it.
