Felix Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz

Operating since 1974, the state music academy educates certified music artists – instrumentalists, vocalists, conductors, composers, theoreticians, educators, sound directors, arrangers, entertainers, with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Education includes classical, jazz, pop, stage and church music. The Academy’s new campus is currently under construction and is expected to open at the end of 2025.

Faculty of music education at Kazimierz Wielki University

The largest university in Bydgoszcz in terms of numbers It offers more than 30 majors and more than 60 specializations, including music. In addition, it has a doctoral school and an Academic Choir.

Artur Rubinstein State Music School Complex

An institution that traces its roots to the beginnings of the first musical institutions in Bydgoszcz, the Bydgoszcz College of Music of 1904. It was established in 1975 as a result of the merger of a number of different separate music institutions.

It includes

  • General Music School of the first degree (six years)
  • General Secondary Music School (six years)
  • State School of Music of the first degree (six years)
  • State School of Music of the Second Degree (six years, including the vocal department, preparing for the profession of musician-vocalist)
  • Talent Class, established in 2009 for exceptionally gifted students, to whom the school offers an individualized course of study and academic tutoring.
  • Regional Center for Psychology of Music “Fermata”.

The school teaches the skills of playing instruments

  • keyboard – piano, organ, accordion, harpsichord
  • wind instruments – flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, tuba, shepherd’s pipe

Recording Production Technician at the Technical School Complex

The profession of recording production technician is a broad-profile profession. Its scope includes the realization of sound in and out of the studio, in the production of various types of recordings and sound reinforcement: on stage, film, theater, radio and television sets.

Youth Palace

Founded in 1974, it is a cultural and educational center for children and young people in Bydgoszcz. It is an educational institution where any minor can enroll. The scope of their teachings is wide, and includes classes in, among other things:

  • trumpet, saxophone, trombone, clarinet, guitar, bass guitar, classical guitar, ukulele, keyboard and drums

Nationwide music school operating in six cities. The Bydgoszcz facility offers singing, piano, guitar, violin and Gordon classes (for children 0-2 years old).

The school is led by Lukasz Urbaniak, who works with Opera Nova on a daily basis in ballet lessons. He has been offering piano and keyboard lessons for more than a decade.

Top Floor School

A new music school has been established on the top floor of a skyscraper in the center of Bydgoszcz. It offers lessons in piano, guitar (classical, acoustic, electric, bass), drums, saxophone, trumpet, violin, clarinet, transverse flute and singing. In addition, the school rents a rehearsal room by the hour and offers audio-video recordings.

Yamaha

The Bydgoszcz-based school offers a variety of courses for children as young as 2, instrumental courses, including electric, bass and classical guitar, drums, ukulele, violin and cello, or piano. In addition, he trains young people from age 12 and up in music production, sound direction, recording and sound production, and DJing.
