Well, the first year of the Bydgoszcz City of Music UNESCO Program is over. And it was a really interesting and intense time. We started with the implementation of application projects and ended with the international event Bydgoszcz Music Summit 2024.
In the meantime, we were able to organize a multitude of concerts, including at the Palace and Park Complex in Ostromecko, where we hosted artists from UNESCO partner cities. This also includes 17 musical events as part of “Sound Rehearsal,” a grand celebration of music to which we invited more than a hundred artists.
We have also shown ourselves outside Poland – the Bydgoszcz musicians have presented themselves in Brno, the Czech Republic, and in Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal, and Varaždin, Croatia, among others.
In addition, we are working on research projects, including the Cultural Observatory and a project on the sustainability of the music industry – Future of The Music Shapes Now!
